Meet Our Pastor
In his own words...
My name is Francisco Torres Jr, but everyone calls me Frank. I have been serving as the Pastor of the Beatrice Church of the Nazarene since January7th , 2022. I was born and raised in the city of Baldwin Park in the state of California on
January 27th, 2000. I am my mother’s eighth child, but the only one who came out of the womb, since my mother had seven miscarriages before me, my life was the result of 20 years of constant prayer. I received the call from the Lord at the age of 13 when I was coming back from a family trip to Atlanta, Georgia. I felt the call so strong on my life that I could not deny it, and although I had opposition from my parents, at the age of 15 I joined the Los Angeles District Training Center to begin my seminary training. By this time, I served as the minister of a hospital ministry in which I preached from the age of 12 and this ministry was active until COVID-19 struck. At the age of 18 I transferred to the Anaheim District, where I received my District license at the age of 19. At the age of 20, we came to Nebraska for a visit, and we loved Nebraska so much, that we wanted to move here. So, we moved on July 22nd and arrived on July 27th , 2021. Where I served in Heritage Hill Church of the Nazarene, under Rev. Ray Cluff. On Saturday, September 4th , 2021, I was asked by Dr. Dan Cole, my district Superintendent to preach in Beatrice, I accepted. To my shock this was a church without a pastor for a year and a half, and after having fellowship, the same undeniable call that I received at 13 to be a minister, I felt again to become the Senior pastor of the Church. After a four-month process, I was established as the Senior Pastor of the Beatrice Church of the Nazarene at the age of 21.
Pastor Frank has over 10 years experience preaching, is a trained counselor who recently completed his B.A in Christian Ministry Counseling. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has played the piano for over 13 years.
